After graduating with my Bachelor of Physical Education and Coaching, I plan to dive straight into the recreational fitness industry. I hope to start out by working for the Parks and Recreation department of New Westminster or Burnaby at various community and recreation centers, while also being able to coach high-school or house-league basketball. From here, I hope to gain knowledge and experience of the managerial aspects of program management as well as learning how to create and implement effective physical activity programs. Finally, through a combination of knowledge and training I hope to be a well-known and respected adult and youth physical activity program coordinator, helping people of all ages get to their desired level of fitness engagement.
